Procédure pour faire une demande d’aide juridique
To apply for services from Nova Scotia Legal Aid, complete the application form. You must provide the following information:
- your full name,
- your date of birth,
- your contact details: postal address and email address,
- your financial information: your monthly income, your monthly expenses and your debts, your assets (house, car, bank balance, retirement savings plans, etc.).
* This financial information is required to apply for full legal aid services. Anyone can contact us for information or summary advice.
There are three ways to apply for services from Nova Scotia Legal Aid
- Submit an application online by completing the online application form . You will receive a communication from the Legal Aid office within a few days.
- Apply in person at one of our regional offices . Call or drop in at the office nearest you. Your application will be forwarded to the appropriate service office if applicable.
- Apply by mail. Print the online application form and mail it to the nearest Legal Aid office.

To obtain legal aid services, you may be required to provide proof of identity (driver’s license or other official identification card).
